Balustrade Post - End

This item includes:

• 48.3 mm diameter (2.5 mm tube thickness) stainless steel tube 
• Welded base plate (100 mm diameter- pre drilled for 4 x M10 fixings)
• Cover Plate (105mm diameter)
• 2no Glass clamps - set one side - suitable for "end of run" in glass balustrade system - clamps will hold 10 mm or 11.52mm glass thickness.
• End cap in post top 
• Available in satin or mirror polished

Floor fixing bolts not supplied - buy relevant fixings for mounting surface

 

Building Regulations 

Our balustrade posts are tested to comply with building regulations (BS 6180:2011) to meet 0.74 KN/m UDL (residential and light commercial use) when combined with either 10 mm toughened or 11.5 mm "Toughened and laminated" glass

Testing was based on maximum post centres of 1250 mm

**If protecting a fall risk greater than 600mm, "Toughened and laminated" glass is required to comply with BS 6180:2011 when not using a handrail 

 Stainless steel grade and surface finish

• Grade 316 has higher anti-corrosive properties, recommended for outdoor environments
• Grade 316 Mirror polished (Marine Grade and Finish) is recommended for coastal / swimming pool locations - typically within 10 miles of the coast
